Bakewell Underpass

The Bakewell Bridge was 80 years old before it was demolished in 2006 to make way for a new underpass. The new Bakewell Underpass cost $41 million to complete and was opened to traffic on 13 January 2008 providing a link between the western suburbs and the city.

The project was awarded to McConnell Dowell. The iconic South Australian Project required Jamtek Structural to complete the formwork construction package for the bridges.
